You know I am a big fan of this very special holiday, and judging by the number of April Fools pranks, it seems that more and more companies are as well. There were all kinds of examples of corporate levity and silliness around the world, perpetrated by organizations that wanted to make their customers and their employees laugh.
Why is such childishness good for business? Because laughter stimulates the imagination and creative thinking which are key resources that propel organizations to new heights of relevance and success. A shared laugh with customers also makes companies appear more relatable, human, and fun. So here is a collection of links which unveil the best corporate pranks of this year.
