Re-Imagining Ski Resorts

“We crowdsourced the funding, the development, the design, the architecture.  For us it was to say: ‘Hey, this month we are really diving into land planning.  Who are the best land planners in the world?’ “

This quote (courtesy of the NYT article) is from one of the owners of Powder Mountain, a futuristic ski resort and community, being fashioned an hour outside of Salt Lake City, Utah.  Powder Mountain is futuristic in every sense.  It is conceived as an example of sustainable living, harmonious fun, and the continuous melting plot of trailblazing people and ideas.
